Our Client is an International Engineering Consultancy operating in a number of locations globally.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
•Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer. or
•In special circumstances, ten years relevant working experience with either a Bachelors degree in Engineering (BEng) or Masters degree in Engineering (MEng) and working towards chartership.
Key Responsibilities:
The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for the day to day direction and control of the Infrastructure team and will report directly to the Client Project Manager. The Infrastructure Project Manager shall:-
•Be responsible to the Client’s representative for the timely and proper delivery of the infrastructure works.
•Facilitate the duties of the nominated Engineer’s Representative on site
•Participate in the co-ordination of the infrastructure works and will represent the Client at meetings held with the Contractor.
•Be responsible for advising the Client’s representative on all relevant matters that may arise from such meetings and the works on site and for any necessary actions or decisions that may be required.
•Issue site instructions, certificates, orders, give approvals, direct action and make recommendations to the Contractor.
•Establish lines of communications, chair regular project and contractor site progress meetings and issue minutes of such meetings.
•Prepare regular reports detailing progress of the site works and issue to Client
•Oversee and be responsible for all engineering staff performance whether they be provided by Consultants or other local consultants.
•Manage the requirements of the Environmental Impact Assessment
•Coordinate information between the design office, contractor and client
•Prepare miscellaneous works contracts, monitor progress and report
• Ensuring all relevant Client staff are informed of project and client matters.
•Continually ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the client’s best interests and that Client policy is in keeping with current legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice etc.
